Primer Sealer Undercoat

Aalto Primer Sealer Undercoat is a professional quality paint that combines the functions of a primer, sealer, and undercoat in one. Suitable for interior and exterior applications, Aalto Primer Sealer Undercoat is formulated to provide excellent adhesion, block tannin and other stains, and provide excellent holdout for topcoats.

• Typical uses - interior walls and ceilings; interior/exterior doors, trims and windows
• Ideal for - timber, Gib®, plaster, brick, concrete, galvanised iron, previously painted surfaces
• Coverage: 8-10m² per litre

Aalto Primer Sealer Undercoat can be applied by synthetic brush, roller, or spray.

Airless spray – a 415 or 515 tip is recommended. When spraying, Aalto Primer Sealer Undercoat may need to be thinned to suit.
Rolling – a synthetic 10mm nap roller sleeve is recommended.

1. Ensure surfaces are free from loose and flaking paint. Wash surfaces with a suitable cleaner such as sugar soap to remove any dirt, oils or grease. If any areas of mould are present, treat with a suitable mould remover.
2. Fill any cracks or holes with a paintable filler. Allow to dry, and sand to a smooth finish
3. Stir paint thoroughly with a broad flat paddle, using an up and down scooping motion
4. Apply 1 full coat of Aalto Primer Sealer Undercoat
5. Apply 2 coats of your chosen Aalto finish coat
