Trade Exterior Low Sheen

Aalto Tradeline Exterior Low Sheen is a professional quality waterbased paint for exterior surfaces. Formulated specifically for New Zealand’s unique conditions.
Provides exceptional performance on most common exterior substrates, including weatherboards, timber, concrete and galvanised iron.

• Typical uses: exterior cladding, sofits, and other exterior surfaces
• Ideal for: weatherboards, timber, galvanised iron, concrete
• Coverage: 10-12m2 per litre
• Sheen level: low sheen 10% gloss

Aalto Trade Exterior Low Sheen can be applied by synthetic brush, roller, or spray.

Airless spray – a 415 or 417 tip is recommended for weatherboards, and a 517 tip is recommended for textured surfaces before being back-rolled.

1. Ensure surfaces are free from loose and flaking paint. Wash surfaces with a suitable exterior cleaner prior to painting to remove dirt, oils, grease and other contaminants. Where there has been mould, treat the area with a moss and mould remover.
2. Fill any cracks and holes with a suitable paintable filler. Allow to dry, and sand to a smooth finish.
3. Apply 1 coat of recommended undercoat.
4. Stir paint thoroughly with a broad flat paddle, using an up and down scooping motion.
5. Apply 2 coats of Aalto Tradeline Exterior Low Sheen, allowing 2 hours between coats.
