Oil Based Finish Coat

Procoat Oil Based Enamel Finish Coat is a premium oil based enamel paint in a gloss, semi gloss or satin finish for interior and exterior* applications. Formulated to provide a hardwearing, moisture resistant coating, it is suitable for use over both waterbased and oil based undercoats.

*For exterior applications, we recommend Procoat Oil Based Enamel Finish Coat in gloss only.

• Typical uses: as a finish coat on areas where a hardwearing finish is required
• Coverage: 10-12m² per litre

1. To achieve the best results, ensure the surface is dry, free from dirt, dust and other contaminants. Wash surfaces with Procoat Roof Clean, especially where moss and mould is present.
2. Stir paint thoroughly with a broad flat paddle, using an up and down scooping motion.

On new timber

1. Apply 1 coat of Procoat Oil Based Primer Undercoat or 1 coat Aalto 3 in 1 Undercoat, and allow to dry overnight
2. Sand and thoroughly dust off to a smooth finish
3. Apply 2 coats Procoat Oil Based Enamel Finish Coat, allowing to dry overnight between coats

On previously painted surfaces

1. Spot prime any bare timber with Procoat Oil Based Primer Undercoat
2. Apply 2 coats Procoat Oil Based Enamel Finish Coat, allowing to dry overnight between coats 

On Gib® board

1. Apply 1 coat Aalto Interior Sealer Undercoat, and allow to dry for 1 hour
2. Apply 1 coat Procoat Oil Based Primer Undercoat, and allow to dry overnight
3. Apply 2 coats Procoat Oil Based Enamel Finish Coat, allowing to dry overnight between coats
